The Aspire RiiL X vape kit is a matchbox style pod device that is ideal for vapers looking for something compact to take on the go. Powered by a built-in 700mAh battery that can be fully charged in just 20 minutes, you can enjoy long vaping sessions. Thanks to its low power output, it supports MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping, however, the airflow control slider allows for a RDTL (Restricted Direct to Lung) style inhale too.

It's equipped with Aspire’s ASP Chipset, which offers a number of safety features including protection against over-vaping, short circuit and low voltage. Thanks to its inhale activation, you won’t have to deal with any fiddly buttons. Simply puff on the mouthpiece to start vaping. The kit also includes a lanyard chain that allows you to easily access your Aspire RiiL X pod kit whilst on the go. An LED indicator light is located on the front of the device.
Each RiiL X pod features a 2ml capacity and is easy to refill thanks to the side filling function. The 0.6 Ohm coil will create slightly larger clouds than the 1.0 Ohm version, but both are from the Aspire AF coil range and are designed to produce discreet amounts of vapour. To match the coils, we’d recommend using a 50% PG or higher e-liquid for best results. You’ll also experience a fuller flavour due to the mesh coil heating up e-liquid faster. Beyond that, the adjustable airflow allows you to set a tighter or looser feeling inhale.

Took Some Time.... Now I Love It for My MTL (09 October 2023)
This was one of my first vape purchases which I bought alongside the Lost Vape Ursa Nano Pro Vape Kit and Vaporesso Luxe X Pro Vape Kit. This is now my go to vape for MTL vaping. The draw is very tight with the airway closed and also have option of allowing some air in depending on the ejuice I have in the pod. The chain hook/ring is an annoying inconvenience (hence the 8 stars and not 10) which I have come to overlook.

And has been good with helping me quit disposables, since you can make the draw tight like an elf bars and so on.
Feels well made and the pod stays tight.
Also it charges pretty quickly.

Not a Flexus (22 September 2022)
So I've had the Flexus-Q and the Flexus stik from Aspire and they were great bits of kit... but this takes the style straight from a Lost Mary but with the performance of a Flexus. The adjustable airflow is nice for if you want the tighter pull or more open RDL pull. It feels like a very strong sturdy bit of kit and probably can take a bit of a knock. Overall a solid 9 out of 11
