The OBS Cube S vape device offers a very good introduction to sub ohm vaping. Featuring an adjustable 80W power output, it delivers a high enough wattage level for a genuine sub ohm experience while at the same time remaining relatively easy to use. Powered by a 18650 vape battery (sold separately) it features an ergonomic design allowing it to fit very well in your hand and a 510 connection so it can be paired with most vape tanks. The variable output and tank compatibility means it can be used for MTL (Mouth To Lung) and DTL (Direct To Lung) vaping.

The 80W max output can be adjusted, meaning that while you can use the CUBE S strictly for sub ohm vaping, it can also be turned into an MTL vape device with very long battery life. Thanks to the advanced chipset included, you'll experience protection from issues including overheating, overcharging and short circuits. When it comes to set-up, a simplified user interface means you can quickly alter performance for a vape that suits you.
The Cube S device is ideal for use on the go. My favourite Mod for an MTL tank. (29 June 2021)
The most compact and ergonomically comfortable 18650 Mod I have owned.
I cannot explain why, but using a Nautilus X / XS tank with 1.8ohm coils this mod produces a perfect taste that I cannot replicate on any other mod. I cannot explain why this is but it is obviously related to the power delivery, yet by replicating wattage and voltage on other mods I still cannot achieve the same quality of flavour produced by this OBS Mod.
Downsides are that the matt plastic body goes shiny after a few months and the faux chrome surround dulls and also the battery pull-strap eventually rips off.
If you drop it the battery cover sometimes comes off.
All that aside it is a joy to use, no complicated settings, wattage settings automatically lock to avoid accidental adjustment and the coil is heated instantly on the button press.
These are no longer manufactured so I've been stocking up on a few and feel it will be a while before I can find something good enough to replace it permanently. Have recently bought a Drag X Mod and a Aegis Solo, and neither come close to the power delivery that the OBS provides on high resistance MTL coils.
