The Smok Scar-18 vape kit is a high powered and well-protected kit for sub ohm vaping. Recommended for intermediate and advanced vapers it offers a high, 230W output and is powered by two 18650 vape batteries (sold separately). Featuring waterproof, dustproof and shockproof properties the Scar-18 utilises the custom-designed IQ-X chipset. To complement the higher wattage level and modes, this kit comes complete with the 2ml Smok TFV9 vape tank.

Despite the multiple protections a dual-battery design, the Scar-18 remains quite compact and is an ideal kit for day-to-day sub ohm vaping. While the newly designed user interface makes menu navigation simple. The IQ-X chipset provides multiple safety protections against overheating, reverse polarity and includes a 10-second cut-off. When it comes to modes you'll have the option of classic Variable Wattage or three separate temperature control modes supporting Stainless Steel, Nickel or Titanium coils.
Capable of harnessing the raw power output of the Scar-18, the Smok TFV9 vape tank offers enhanced vapour producing capabilities and a 2ml e-liquid capacity. A childproof top-filling cap not only makes refilling a cleaner task, but it also protects your tank further. Adjustable bottom airflow gives you increased control over vapour production and your inhale style. The V9 0.15 Ohm mesh coil (two are included) boosts both flavour and vapour production and should be paired with e-liquid that's 60% VG or higher.

Good value, strong, but the tank isn't the one (08 July 2021)
This would be the perfect little setup with a TFV8 Mini Tank.
I bought this to replace my Smok that has grown tired due to dirt ingress. The previous unit had the mini v8 tank, and although it wasn't perfect it was much better than this one. I don't like the seal/fill flap that this tank has. It's a nice idea but filling from 100ml short fills isn't pleasant. With patience you'll get there, but it doesn't seem like it's been thought out properly.
Luckily the old setup works okay for a home setup, and I use this one for travelling.

Very Disappointing (22 March 2021)
So first the positives: this thing is (in theory) a cloud chaser's dream. It also, unlike my recent kits, doesn't burn through a coil in three days at 60w.
As for the negatives: I usually keep two sets of batteries on the go, but the battery compartment is so unbelievably and difficult to clip in place that I've taken to just charging over micro usb rather than deal with fighting the damn thing. That alone would have been annoying, but fine. And then I'm sat here puffing away on day 4 and notice that the filling ring has completely warped out of shape, and is now catching on the mechanism as I close it after filling. I swapped it out with the spare supplied and carried on. Then I hear a pop a little while later, do a quick once over of the device and assume it's the coil where a bit of liquid has gotten in. No no, it turns out the O-ring had violently popped upwards and hairline fractured the glass. Minutes later I'm covered in liquid with no spares.
Not thrilled.

Upgraded from smok alien after 2 years, many drops, full of crap from working on sites.
This is the improved version of a great product. Great size, visually awesome, so far holding on dust and water. Hope I get 2 years out of this great mod

Well this is an upgrade from my Innokin Zlide, which was lacking taste and vapour. Chose it because it's similar to my Innokin, regarding visual effects, filling, waterproof, dust proof, and shockproof, except the glass of course. It feels nice in hand, quite heavy, but pleasantly so, have loads of settings, for more advanced vaping, and not so advanced. Good clouds. Easy to fill. Amazing taste from juices both eliquid and nic salts. Nic salts are smoother to vape and more enjoyable for me. A bit of problem with coils, if You see that metal ring type of thing on coil base has some space between - it will leak. In most cases can fix it with pressing it down with force. Or in other case - take next one. No other leaking problems. Battery holds few days, on lower power settings, will last about a day on higher ones. Best to buy adapter for battery charging, not to charge them inside the vape. They will last longer. Chargers are not expensive and are sold here on vape club. Charges for 2.5 - 3 hours. So it's a good idea to get reserve batterys. They are not so expensive.

I bought this based on the website description and I must say they are spot on the kit is excellent, the charge indicator is good and filling the tank is really easy.
You can adjust the air with the adjuster at the bottom of the tank and the flavour it produces is amazing.you can adjust the power easily and I'm just using it on a low setting till i get used to it but the clouds are still big. If you're looking for an excellent build quality machine i would definitely recomend this to anyone. Also the delivery and customer service is really good.
