Instafill FAQ
What Is The Instafill Vape Kit?
The Instafill vape kit sits between disposables and pod kits, offering a more cost-effective alternative to single-use disposables that’s just as simple to use. This rechargeable disposable comes complete with a 10ml e-liquid bottle that you plug directly into the device, and when combined, the Instafill is capable of delivering up to 3,500 puffs.
How Is Instafill Different From A Disposable?
Although the Instafill is similar to disposable vapes in a lot of ways – it’s inhale activated, available in a wide range of flavours and uses nic salts to deliver a smooth throat hit – there are some important differences. It includes a rechargeable battery which keeps the device compact, while at the same time helping you avoid power drops and a decline in vapour production that’s common in disposables. It’s also longer-lasting thanks to the 10ml bottle and will outlast five standard single-use vapes.
Are Instafill Vapes Legal In The UK?
Instafill vape kits are fully compliant with UK laws and have received approval from the MHRA, which means they’re legal to sell and purchase in the UK. A lot of vapers have recognised that the Instafill is a more viable option compared to larger, illegal disposable vapes as they deliver the same amount of puffs but have undergone the rigorous testing required for standard UK-legal vapes.
How Do I Set Up An Instafill Kit?
1. Remove The Battery And E-Liquid Bottle From Your Kit
Your Instafill will arrive partially assembled to save space. To get your kit ready for set up remove the e-liquid bottle and battery pack from your device. Keep them on hand as you’ll need them shortly.
2. Prepare And Load Your E-Liquid bottle
Unscrew the cap off the e-liquid bottle and remove the silver film on the mouth of the bottle. Insert the bottle upright into the device and turn it clockwise to screw it in. The e-liquid bottle cap has a screw-head design that can be used to help tighten the bottle in place.
3. Insert Your Battery
Remove the small label from your battery and insert it into your device with the two pins facing upward. It should click easily into place and you won’t need any tools to assist with fitting the battery.
4. Fit The E-Liquid Cap
With the battery inserted, you can then fit the e-liquid cap to the bottom of the bottle. This will click into place, just make sure you press hard and ensure that it’s firmly in place. Your kit is now fully protected.
5. Charge Your Instafill Battery
Once fully assembled it’s a good idea to charge your battery. Using the USB-C cable included, plug in your kit until the light on the device flashes green – this indicates a full charge. This process should take no more than half an hour.
6. Fill Up The Instafill Pod
Now that the Instafill is assembled and charged, you’re almost ready to get started. To draw e-liquid from the bottle and into the Instafill pod, hold the device at an angle and press down the button next to the pod and it will begin to fill.
7. Prime Your Instafill Coil
Once the pod is full leave your Insatfill kit standing upright for 10 minutes or so, this gives the e-liquid time to soak into the pod’s coil. Known as priming your coil, this process stops “dry hits” from occurring and helps your coil to last as long as possible.
8. Vape The Instafill
To start vaping, just inhale on the kit’s mouthpiece. When you do, the Instafill will produce a small amount of vapour that feels like a disposable or a cigarette. There are no buttons to press or menus to scroll through, just inhale whenever you feel cravings flare up.
How Long Does An Instafill Last?
Delivering up to 3500 puffs each, an Instafill vape can outlast 100 cigarettes or 5 disposables. The rechargeable battery inside can be recharged as often as needed and a full charge should keep you going all day. The average vaper will find that an Instafill lasts between 5 - 7 days.
How Do I Keep Using My Instafill Disposable Kit?
Whenever your pod runs empty – it’s transparent so you can keep an eye on e-liquid levels – just press the button to siphon more e-liquid into the pod. You’ll know it’s time to replace your kit when the pod and bottle of e-liquid are both empty. Recharge your battery whenever you notice the light flashing red or the kit stops producing vapour. The 500mAh battery can be recharged as many times as needed and thanks to passthrough charging it can be vaped while it’s plugged in.
How Can I Dispose Of My Instafill?
When you’re ready to swap your Instafill, you might be wondering what to do with the old one. Luckily, it’s easy to get your kit ready for recycling. Remove the battery and unscrew the empty bottle, separating the kit into three parts. Wash out the plastic bottle and put it in with your plastic recycling, the battery is protected and is safe to put in a battery recycling bin, the last part belongs in an electrical waste recycling bin. If you don’t have these bins at home, find your local recycling centre or contact your local council for more information.
Is The Instafill Better Than A Disposable Vape?
For a lot of people, the Instafill’s 3500 puff count and rechargeable battery present a huge advantage over disposable vapes. It’s a longer-lasting alternative that delivers the same MTL vape that you’d experience with a single-use vape. The only point where the Instafill falls short is when it comes to maintenance, even though inserting a battery and screwing in a bottle of e-liquid might not seem like much effort, it can seem like a lot when compared to the setup required for a disposable – which is zero.
