Aspire Nautilus AIO Salt Nic Replacement Vape Coils

Looking at these coils which are geared towards nic salt, I wondered if they would fit into my Nautilus mini tanks which are all I use on my various mods. They didn't look too dissimilar to the usual Nautilus BVC coils and so I thought I'd try them. They do fit though are slightly bigger but they screw in just fine and after using one for a full day I can confirm they don't leak in the Nautilus tank either.

The amazing thing is the way they increase the flavour produced is quite incredible and I usually get a week to ten days with the regular BVC coils. I will come back and update this review when I've used the coil a little longer, but if I get similar length of use then I will be switching to these coils over the standard BVC.

The increased flavour is absolutely astounding.

Poor! (07 August 2020)

What a disappointment! On paper, these look perfect for anyone who loves Nic Salts and the Nautilus GT tank, but after a few vapes, you'll see why you'll want your money back! Constant popping and gurgling, spit back galore, burnt taste after just a few mls... Very disappointed in these. Stick to the 0.7 Mesh Coils, far better!

When they work, these are the best coils for any Nautilus tank to handle Nic Salts.
Effectively they are just a standard 1.8 with a larger wicking hole - but this actually makes a big difference. The standard 1.8 didn't wick salts properly and the 0.7 & 0.4 are way too hot for Salts with hardly any vapour production in my opinion.
However, these are the most inconsistent coils I have seen from Aspire (as others have mentioned). Luckily I didn't get any duds, but some spat, some had slow ramp up speeds and a couple with incredibly tight airflow.
Frustrated with how Salts performed in my Nautilus GT - I decided to switch from Salts back to free base Nic and you know what? I actually get a much satisfying hit.
This may not be the answer that people want to hear, but for me, being a Nautilus Junkie for over 6 years and trying every coil and eliquid combination. The trusty 0.7's, with a good free base (50-60VG) nic eliquid, with NO added sweeteners! At a nic strength of your choice - at around 17 to 21 watts gives the most satisfying vape with excellent and consistant coil life.

Poor quality (23 November 2019)

Swithed to salts, I have just finished my first box of coils 2 coils out of 5 were bad . . All I got wsa the taste of burnt paper! Unfortunately I have 2 more boxes to go. Between this and my problems with Nautilus it is time I say goodbye to aspire.

Makes the Nautilus Relevant Again (31 October 2019)

I've used these coils on my trusty old Nautilus Mini with Nic Salt liquid and they work perfectly, giving a super smooth and satisfying vape that makes that beautiful little tank as relevant to me now as it was when I bought it years ago.

Good Grief (13 May 2019)

I am a terrific fan of the Aspire AIO and am impressed by the length of life of these coils. However, and its a very big HOWEVER, out of every pack of five coils there always seem to be one or two that are "dud" - not exactly faulty but they definitely underperform and I'm afraid I give up fiddling with them and just insert a fresh one. At £13.99 per pack this seems unreasonable. What vapeclub and other suppliers are supposed to do about this I'm not sure. Maybe there's a main importer that all vape suppliers use and the matter might be taken up with them.
